Professional Installation

WrapThatCar has always, and will always, put installation first. We have been doing subcontract work for other sign shops in the area since 2005, and continue to get them great recognition with our professional installation. If you want your clients to think that you are handling the project from start to finish, no problem. Just throw us a shirt or two and we will wear them proudly. Our main priority is to make you look good for your customers.

We also specialize in coming out on location to give the feeling of a local installer, even though we may not always be local. In many cases, there is no charge for travel in the NJ, PA, NY, DE, and MD areas. However, please contact us to see if you fall within our travel radius. We’re also not afraid to travel for long distance jobs, as long as airfare and hotel accommodations have been taken care of by the client. We will pretty much go wherever you want. In fact, our clients rely so greatly on our professional service, that they send us all over America instead of risking their reputation on a local installer in which they don’t know.

How to Prepare & What to Expect:

  • Length of Time
The goal for WrapThatCar is to arrive on time, do a professional installation, and do it quickly so that the vehicle owner can start to enjoy the benefits of the wrap right away. On the day of installation, we usually arrive between 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time to get set up and prepare all of the materials. We look forward to starting right away so that we can finish within your scheduled business hours. This is why it is very important to clean and prepare the vehicle ahead of time (See our Preparation Section below). A typical vehicle wrap will take around 6-8 hours with one installer, however, large and more complex vehicles may take longer to complete.
  • Acceptable Conditions
If you do not have access to an indoor facility or garage, weather plays a major role in the scheduling of an install. Obviously we know that a wrap can not be installed if it is raining, but when do we determine whether the job should be rescheduled? We are always willing to play it by ear with our clients to try to make a scheduled install happen, however when it comes to a chance of rain, we give our clients two options. We can either cancel and reschedule, or we can risk it by making the the trip and hoping for the best. Sometimes risking it pays off as we all know weatherman are not always accurate, and we may still be able to complete the job as scheduled. However, if there is a high chance of inclement weather, it may be better to cancel and reschedule since we charge hourly for any time spent by us waiting out the storm. In addition, temperature will also play a vital role as the manufacturer of the vinyl will specify a temperature for application between 70° – 80º. Any colder and the vinyl will rip and tear during installation. Any hotter and the vinyl will get all soupy and stretch, making the install nearly impossible.
  • Preparation
We make sure that every vehicle gets the proper installation, and probably the most critical element to this is starting with a clean vehicle. The vehicle needs to be washed the day prior to installation so that any water left under rubber moldings has time to dry. Please make sure this is done as you will incur extra charges if we have to wash your vehicle. Before we begin the installation, we will also go over the entire vehicle again with denatured alcohol to enhance the surface for good adhesion.

WrapThatCar is a fully insured, certified wrap installer. Since we opened in 2005, we have not experienced any major incidents during an installation. However, rest assured that if anything does go wrong during the installation, we have you covered.
