Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a list of frequently asked questions about wraps. If you do not see your question answered here, check out our “Ask an Expert” blog or contact us to submit a question of your own.

How do I care for my vehicle wrap?

Hand washing is the best way to keep the vehicle clean. You want to avoid high pressure systems as they may damage the adhesive around the edges. Never wax your vehicle!! Vinyl needs to breathe, and waxing will seal the vinyl and actually cause it more harm than good. Instead, use a vinyl polish. If you have a vehicle with window graphics or window perforated graphics, you want to avoid using an ice scraper. Instead, turn on the defroster and use a soft brush to do the job.

I see some edges lifting. What should I do?

It is expected that some edges will lift around the wheel wells and the underneath of the car or truck. This usually will happen within the first two weeks. If such an event occurs, just contact us and we will be happy to take a look and make any necessary repairs.

Do you design wraps?

Yes! Leave it to our design team to give you a radical new concept for your vehicle. Whether it is an “off the wall” design or a contemporary look you’re after, rest assured our design team can meet your needs. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure the end result is what you had envisioned.

What is the life expectancy of my vehicle wrap?

Depending on materials used, the life expectancy is between 2-5yrs. All of our prints are solvent inks that have a UV resistant overlam. Though, the life of the wrap is mostly dependent on how much use the vehicle gets, as well as the elements.  (i.e. vehicles that have more sun exposure will fade faster than those who do not.)

Do you have an installation guarantee?

Our installers are the best in the business, and we stand by our work. If there are any problems with the installation, you will notice these things within the first two weeks.  However, we guarantee you will notice no, or little, issues for the first two months. If your vehicle wrap is showing problems after that time frame, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will evaluate the situation. We will not warranty any jobs that are self installed, self repaired, or improperly maintained. Contact us for full warranty details.

Why do I see seams or bubbles?

This is not a paint job. On a typical wrap, bubbling is rarely an issue.  However, certain vehicles have been known to have sharp contours which allow some bubbling to occur.  Our sales reps are very knowledgeable in all types of vehicles, and will let you know of any chance of bubbling, or other issues, before the start of the job.
